Under the Indian Languages Speech Resources Development for Speech Applications project initiated by the MeitY, Govt. of India, Speech Consortium led by CDAC Noida.

The aim of the project is to develop Speech Database for Indian English. It contains audio files and text transcriptions of 1500 speaker for Travel, Agriculture and General Domain, for different recording environment namely - Studio , Office-Home and Roadside. Database is divided in 1500 folder i.e. one speaker per folder.Each folder contains 58 wave files.
